The future of the Red River Métis is not built by starting over, but by safeguarding and honouring the extraordinary foundation we have spent more than three decades building together. Our vision is anchored in a permanent commitment to continuity, resilience, and long-term security. As I have always emphasized, to truly have self-governance, you have to be able to afford it. True self-determination means controlling our own education, lifting up our families, expanding our economic independence through landmark ownership, and fiercely defending our constitutionally protected rights and traditional way of life across every generation. With deep respect and unwavering determination, we look forward to finishing what we started—locking in our hard-won achievements, providing a strong foundation for our governance, and ensuring that the future of the Red River Métis remains forever safe, prosperous, and self-determined.
